ADNOC ORDERS 10 STATE-OF-THE ART PSV’S
Tolkamer 10/12/2013 – Shipyard De Hoop is proud to announce the award to design, build and deliver 10 new Platform Supply Vessels (PSV) to Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). The vessels of dimensions 65 x 15.8 metres will boast a true “design of the future”, meeting the highest international class notations within both operational and environmental objectives. The design is yet another development of the proven De Hoop PSV designs, build to order. The vessel will operate in the oil and gas fields offshore the United Arab Emirates, and will be delivered within 2015 and 2016. The award has been won through a full international tender competition. The vessels shall work for the operating company ESNAAD, member of the ADNOC group.
STEELCUTTING STARTED FOR DELTA LOGISTICS (YN 460)
Tolkamer, 04/12/2013 – Today Shipyard de Hoop started the steel cutting of the 70×15.8 metre Platform Supply Vessel (PSV) for Delta Logistics Limited of Trinidad. This vessel heralds the next generation of De Hoop PSV’s, coming as a further development of De Hoop’s KISS design that was recently built and delivered for Pemex in Mexico. The deep-water capable vessel will operate in the offshore fields near Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean Sea and is scheduled for delivery in the third quarter of next year.
DE HOOP FOXHOL LAUNCHES ‘EMERALD STAR’ (YN464)
Foxhol 30/11/2013 – Today, at 10AM, the Emerald Star was successfully launched at our yard in Foxhol. This three decks, 135 meter River Cruise Vessel is under construction for the Australian Company Emerald Waterways. The luxury vessel shall be built as a sister vessel of the YN 462, which is under construction at our yard at Lobith-Tolkamer. Both vessels are scheduled for delivery for the season of next year.
AMADEUS SILVER ‘RIVER VESSEL’ OF THE YEAR
Lobith, 20/11/2013 – The Amadeus Silver, the new flagship of Austrian river cruise specialist Lüftner Cruises, has won this year’s ‘Kreuzfahrt Guide Award 2013’ in the category of ‘river boat of the year’. The prize is unique in Germany and is awarded by the renowned German label ‘Kreuzfahrt Guide’ (Cruise Guide). A high calibre jury comprising renowned members of the tourist industry decides on the final winner. Shipyard De Hoop is very proud to design and build ships which are so successful for their clients.
KEEL LAID FOR YARD NUMBER 465
Foxhol, 14/11/2013 – Today the keel was laid for the hull of the 65 metre Multipurpose Offshore Support Vessel of SeaMar Subsea BV (YN 465). Mr. Leo Balkema, Managing Director, did put the traditional coin below the first section. The vessel shall be assembled at our yard in Foxhol and is scheduled to be delivered in Q2 2014.

DE HOOP LOBITH LAUNCHES ‘EMERALD SKY’ (YN462)
Tolkamer 23/09/2013 – Today, at 3PM, the Emerald Sky was successfully launched at our yard in Lobith. The luxury 135 meter River Cruise Vessel for the Australian Company Emerald Waterways shall be equipped with luxury suites including balconies, as well as a swimming pool and cinema area and is scheduled for delivery in the 1st quarter of 2014.
STEELCUTTING STARTED FOR DEEP HELDER
Tolkamer, 19/09/2013 – Today Shipyard de Hoop started the steel cutting of the 65 metre Multipurpose Offshore Support Vessel of SeaMar Subsea BV. Custom designed to stringent environmental control, the diesel electric powered vessel will be constructed for low fuel consumption, clean ship / green passport / SPS2008 and high comfort class notation, making it the first offshore vessel to be built in the Netherlands to this specification. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in Q2 2014.

The vessel will have many luxury features and is set to be a new standard on the river Seine. Delivery is scheduled for the first half of 2014.
STEEL CUTTING YN463 SCENIC TOURS
Tolkamer 02/07/2013 – Today Shipyard de Hoop started the steel cutting of the 110 meter River Cruise Vessel of Scenic Tours (Scenic Cruises – Australia). The vessel will sail on the river Seine (France) up to Honfleur. There are some special requirements for the vessel, for which De Hoop has produced a completely new design, following in the style and interior standard of the five-star Scenic Tours fleet. The vessel will have many luxury features and is set to be a new standard on the river Seine. Delivery is scheduled for the first half of 2014.
