YN470 HAS ARRIVED IN EEMSHAVEN

Foxhol 22/05/2015 – Last Friday, the 65 meter Platform Supply Vessel for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company  has been transported from our yard in Foxhol to the Eemshaven, a real logistic challenge as there were only a few centimeters between the vessel and the bridge. This week, the vessel will be made ready for sea trials, which will start the week after.

NEW ORDER FROM LUEFTNER REISEN (YN 468)

Lobith 19/05/2015 – Shipyard De Hoop is proud to announce, once again, a new build contract for Lueftner Reisen. The 135 meter River Cruise Vessel is based on the successful development and delivery of the Amadeus Silver II, yard number 461. The new order is the 12th order from Lueftner Reisen at Shipyard De Hoop. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2016.

START STEEL CUTTING YN475

Lobith 05/05/2015 – The official start of the steel cutting of the sixth Platform Supply Vessel for ESNAAD has commenced. Whereas the first and second vessel shall be assembled at our Foxhol yard, the third, fourth, fifth ans sixth vessel will be produced at our Lobith yard. The PSVs are part of an order of ten vessels for ESNAAD.

HULL OF YN472 TAKING SHAPE

Lobith 25/04/2015 – The hull assembly of the third Platform Supply Vessel for ESNAAD is on full speed, in the last few weeks many sections where placed on the slipway at our yard in Lobith Tolkamer.

START UP COMMISSIONING YN470

Foxhol 25/04/2015 – The 65 meter Platform Supply Vessel for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company started up with commissioning at our Foxhol yard. The YN470 is the first vessel of a series of ten. At the meantime, the hull of YN471, the second vessel, has been completed. The Esnaad vessels boast a true “design of the future“, meeting the highest international class notations within both operational and environmental objectives. 

CHRISENING & DELIVERING AMADEUS SILVER II

Tolkamer, 22/04/2015 – Today, Lueftner Cruises christened the Amadeus Silver II (YN461) at our Lobith yard as the newest addition of their cruising fleet. Crew, invited guests, first passengers and employees of the yard, all witnessed the christening of this 11th vessel for Lueftner Reisen. Godmother mrs. Corine Lueftner specially thanked her family, the staff, the shipyard, subcontractors and suppliers for the beautiful end result. After the celebrations the vessel took immediately off for her first official voyage to Amsterdam.

AMADEUS SILVER II PERFORMED TRIALS SUCCESSFULLY

Tolkamer 10/04/2015 – Today the 135 meter river cruise vessel Amadeus Silver II, our yard number 461, has successfully completed her official river trials. The Amadeus Silver II is the 11th vessel, build for Lueftner Reisen. Wednesday, April 22 next, the Christening of the vessel will take place at our Lobith yard. A day after the ceremony, the vessel goes straight into service and will operate for the entire season in Europe, mainly on the rivers Rhine and Danube.

KEEL LAID FOR ESNAAD (YN473)

Lobith 10/04/2015 – Today, the keel was laid for the hull of the 65 meter Platform Supply Vessel for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (YN473). The ship is the fourth in a series of ten and boast a true “design of the future“, meeting the highest international class notations within both operational and environmental objectives. The vessels will operate in the oil and gas fields for the operating company ESNAAD, member of the ADNOC group.

DUTCH CANCER SOCIETY’S BUSINESS FRIEND

Lobith 01/04/2015 – Shipyard De Hoop is helping to build a better future, as one of the Business Friends of the Dutch Cancer Society (KWF Kankerbestrijding). Cancer affects us all. One in three Dutch people will develop cancer during their lifetime, which amounts to more than 100,000 people each year. That’s 12 people per hour … which, of course, is way too many. Each year, nearly 42,000 people die of cancer, making this disease the leading cause of death in the Netherlands.
